It is with great pride that we can announce that smartimpact has been awarded a position as a Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supplier for the second year running. Put simply we are now included on the G-Cloud 7 agreement.

It is with great pride that we can announce that smartimpact has been awarded a position as a Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supplier for the second year running. Put simply we are now included on the G-Cloud 7 agreement.

Crown Commercial Service?

The CCS works with both departments and organisations across the whole of the public sector to ensure maximum value is extracted from every commercial relationship and improve the quality of service delivery. The CCS goal is to become the “go-to” place for expert commercial and procurement services.

What is G-Cloud?

G-Cloud is a CCS framework through which suppliers can provide public sector buyers with cloud-based services such as web hosting, site analytics or document collaboration tools. The G-Cloud agreement supports the Government’s policy to centrally manage the procurement of common goods and services through an integrated commercial function at the heart of government.

The G-Cloud can be used by organisations across the UK public sector including central government, local government, health, education, devolved administrations, emergency services, defence and not-for-profit organisations. G-Cloud is specifically for the purchase of commodity based IT services. Suppliers are invited to apply once a year and this our second year running of being awarded the position.

What is the benefit to smartimpact and its customers?

This opens a whole new marketplace up to us as an organisation and shows our credibility of services within the CRM arena; we have been evaluated and passed by CCS.

The benefits to G-Cloud customers are numerous:

  • Using this agreement helps CCS deliver savings for the public sector and the taxpayer by aggregating spend to drive best value
  • The agreement is fully EU compliant, saving customers the time and money associated with conducting their own procurement exercise
  • Through the competitive tender process and regular benchmarking, CCS ensures customers have access to the most competitive deals
  • Suppliers are carefully evaluated during the tender process and pre-agreed terms and conditions offer customers sound contractual safeguards

Proud to be G-Cloud 7.
